Day 9, the final day of The Playbook tour and the place to be is with me and Kiala Givehand. We had a fantastic YouTube interview on story, art journaling, and life in general, which you can find here. If you don't know Kiala, trust me, you should. So grab a cup of whatever you want and join us for this great conversation!

Day 8 and today I'm hanging out with Jill Badonsky. If you have a creative bone in your body (by which I mean, if you're alive) hanging with Jill is fun. She takes creativity out of the realm of rarefied and brings it to us mere mortals. Here's our interview! Enjoy.

Day 7 and today is the day that we spend some time with the lovely Sheryl Sitts. When Sheryl and I were thinking about how we would collaborate I decided that I wanted to write a letter to her. A love letter about story and our mutual commitment to sharing the stories of women. You can read that letter here.

Day 6 of the tour and it's a stop with Ronna Detrick, one of my favorite people I haven't yet met. Ronna Detrick's work around women and spirituality touches my soul so deeply. Growing up in a family that didn't have any sort of formal religious or spiritual practice I come to her work with the mind of a beginner. I love how she takes the stories of women of the Bible and brings them into relevance for a 21st century woman. Ronna and I discussed my work and my connection to things of the spirit. You can read all about it here.

It's Day 5 of The Playbook virtual book tour. Here in Savannah Hurricane Irma has decided to change course and head in our direction. Damn you Irma, just can't trust those hurricanes! Today's stop on the tour is an interview with Vanessa Sage. Vanessa is one of my favorite people whom I haven't yet met face to face. Vanessa and I share a love of things unseen and liminal. We also share a love of my particular passion, women's stories. You can read our interview here

Day 4 of the book tour and we're under the threat of Hurricane Irma. While I still have power I want to share the audio of a webinar that I did for Mary McDowall and Kathy Kane of The Purple Ink Café. I talked about using The Playbook to create the life you want. The participants had the chance to do some exercises to begin to envision and plan for the future that they want for themselves. Have a listen and work along. *If you hit play and don't hear anything, wait a few moments for the file to buffer.

Day 3 of the virtual book tour for The Playbook and I was supposed to be doing a live workshop at Savannah Yoga Center, but Mother Nature had other ideas. Savannah has largely cleared out ahead of Hurricane Irma so we've been rescheduled. What I have today is the interview that I did with Connect Savannah newspaper. Have a read http://bit.ly/ConnectSav

It's Day 2 and I had a wonderful talk with coach Bindi Shah. Bindi and I talked, among other things, about meditation, coaching, and how The Playbook can fit into a practice. Join me on Soundcloud for the coaches conversation.

Our first official stop, on September 7th, on the tour is Women for One. Kelly McNelis and the Women for One team are completely in line with my beliefs. Kelly's message of "messy brilliance" is perfect when what you want to do is to create a life that feels rich and meaningful on your terms. Join me at womenforone.com as we get the conversation started!

From Women For One Founder, Kelly McNelis:

“The Playbook gives you practical, but incredibly useful, tools and tips for identifying what you need in order to get where you want to go in life. Omkari Williams delivers everything in a clear, but playful way so that you can let your imagination run wild while you create a practical plan for your dream life.”

Mini workshop news and update: If you're in the Savannah area you know that we'll be hitting the road to escape hurricane Irma. So our workshop will be rescheduled. For a taste of what we'll be doing, when it does happen, and more info check out this article in Connect Savannah http://bit.ly/2j4IKwt. 'Til then, be safe and I'll see you soon!
